Write to your MP

To get HS2 stopped we need to get 326 MPs, that is over half of all Members of  Parliament, to be on our side, and ultimately, if the need arises, to vote against it in the House of Commons.

But MPs take no notice of letters from people outside their own constituency, so we are asking you, no begging you, to contact your MP and convey to him/her your hope that they will oppose the HS2 proposal.

You can send a message to your MP quickly and easily via this website:

www.highspeedrail.org.uk

The site includes a draft letter, which you can send as it is or modify, as you prefer.

We are asking you not only to do this yourself; we are also asking you to contact all your friends and relatives, with the request that they too write to their MP via www.highspeedrail.org.uk or, if they don’t use the internet, by sending a letter to their MP at House of Commons London SW1A 0AA.
