Action groups have been formed by communities up and down the proposed high-speed rail line, both on the ‘preferred’ route, which passes along the edge of Wendover, and on the alternative route running through the Hughenden Valley. In addition, two national campaigning organisations, the HS2 Action Alliance and Stop HS2, have been formed. Wendover HS2 is in close communication with the national campaign organisations and other local groups on the proposed route.
